Roberts has supervised more than 200 cultural resource projects across 17 states during his 15 years in the industry, the majority of these projects being cultural resource inventories. Mr. Roberts has conducted survey, eligibility testing, data recovery, archival research, lithic analysis, NRHP eligibility evaluations, NEPA evaluations, and report preparation for numerous projects across the country. Roberts is the Secretary of the Met Chapter of the New York State Archaeological Association (NYSAA), the past President of the Arizona Archaeological Council and a Registered Professional Archaeologist. Roberts is a full member of the Society for American Archaeology (SAA), the Midwest Archaeological Conference (MAC), the New York Archaeological Council (NYAC), the Council for Northeast Historical Archaeology (CNEHA) and the Professional Archaeologists of New York City (PANYC).
