Ms. Turner-Pearson is a CRM archaeologist and adjunct professor of Anthropology. She owns Central Texas Archaeological Resources and teaches at Texas A&M University. Ms. Turner-Pearson has over 30 years of field experience in prehistoric and historic archaeology, geoarchaeology, geomorphology, soil chemistry, survey, rock shelters, and site assessment. She has worked in all parts of Texas and Oklahoma. Ms Turner-Pearson has a comprehensive knowledge of soil and landform development and how it translates into the archaeological record. She has led and participated in many large-scale archaeological surveys and excavations, and has a thorough understanding of federal and state cultural resource regulations. Ms Turner-Pearson is a Registered Professional Archaeologist and meets the Secretary of the Interior’s professional standards for Principal Investigators. As Professor she teaches Biological Anthropology, Cultural Anthropology, Intro to Archaeology, and Myth and Ritual.
