David Amrine began with New South Associates in 2014 and serves as a Laboratory Analyst. He has done artifact analysis and curation with the National Park Service – Midwest Archaeological Center and had over three years of experience in archaeological fieldwork. His experience includes Phase I – Phase III work in Georgia, Iowa, Louisiana, Mississippi, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Nevada, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Wyoming. He has also obtained volunteer archaeological experience in Mongolia, doing surface survey and excavation on two separate occasions. His specialties include historic nail analysis, general archaeological analysis and curation, and archaeological field work. His academic interests include geology, archaeology, paleontology, and entomology.
