It is not news that many of our colleagues have faced a difficult time regarding the sudden and unexpected loss of employment, funding, and other professional opportunities. Policies, economies, and administrations alike have created and exacerbated existing obstacles to security, conservation, and preservation and we at the Register are staying apprised of the challenges you may be facing.

All of us archaeologists, as well as historians, preservationists, scientists, and consultants that devote their careers to managing and protecting human heritage exist and function at best as a community. We would like to encourage our Registrants to utilize the Register Job portal to post job listings at no charge and find those opportunities that will help you land on their feet. Reach out to those in the Registry that are listed as willing to mentor. Find colleagues in your interested area of research or in your geographical region that may be able to guide you along your next steps.
