The Register of Professional Archaeologists wishes to apologize for public comments made to The Daily Gleaner, and published on September 20, 2021, regarding confidential Register grievance procedures. The Register takes its duty of confidentiality during the grievance process very seriously. We deeply regret that a breach of confidentiality occurred and apologize to the registrant referenced in the article. We also apologize to our registrants, who rightfully expect the Register to strictly comply with its procedures, Bylaws, and Code of Conduct, and to provide fair and unbiased assessments of all grievances.
