Brief Description of Education & Experience
I received BAs in Anthropology and Geography from Humboldt State University and my MA in Anthropology at California State University, Chico. I've worked as a professional archaeologist since 1999. I currently serve as the Cultural Resources Program Manager and Native American Liaison for the North Coast Redwoods District of California State Parks. The District encompasses 22 State Park units in Del Norte, Humboldt, and Mendocino Counties. I oversee a team of cultural resources specialists whose duties include site stewardship, GIS and cultural resources database management, tribal affairs, collections management, and environmental compliance.
