Brief Description of Education & Experience
Over 40 years of anthropological research, in academic and applied CRM settings. Extensive prehistoric and historic archaeological research throughout the American West and other areas. CRM and research archaeology of an array of Paleoindian, Archaic, and Late Prehistoric archaeological records and historic-period Native American, Spanish, Hispanic, European, and African-American sites. Longitudinal ethnographic work with Native American populations in Venezuela, Mexico, New Mexico, and Arizona. Over 26 years of university teaching of undergraduate and graduate students in anthropology.
