Brief Description of Education & Experience
I am an RPA-certified, SOI-qualified Archaeologist III at Gray & Pape, Inc., with several years of experience in cultural resources management across the Midwest and beyond. I specialize in compliance-driven archaeological investigations for state, federal, and private clients, with field and reporting experience across Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Texas, Oklahoma, and New York. My background includes previous roles with Cox | McLain Environmental Consulting (now Stantec) and the Illinois State Archaeological Survey.
My academic background includes an MA in Anthropology from the University of Illinois Chicago (2022), an MPhil in Archaeology from the University of Cambridge (2019), and a BA in Archaeology from the University of Durham (2018). While I previously pursued a PhD at the University of Illinois at Chicago—where I was awarded a University Fellowship and worked as a Research Assistant at the Field Museum—I have transitioned fully into applied CRM. My ongoing interests include large-scale settlement pattern analysis, landscape archaeology, and integrating regional data for heritage management and preservation planning.
