Brief Description of Education & Experience
I received my BA in Anthropology specializing in general archaeology from Mississippi State University. I worked in the lab and on contracted projects for MSU for three years while in school. After that I was hired by the Mississippi Dept. of Transportation as an Archaeologist II. During my 14.5 years at MDOT, I move up the ranks through Archaeologists III, Historic Resources Specialist I, II, and III, then was a Historic Resources Specialist Senior before leaving MDOT for employment with the Chickasaw Nation as an Archaeologist I.
