Duties: supervising archaeological survey and excavation, laboratory work including artifact analysis and curation, background research, report writing and document production, creating site predictive models, mapping (both draft, using a transit and level, and computer, using AutoSketch, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and ArcView GIS), photography (digital and 35 mm), field work including Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III archaeological survey, testing, and mitigation, and documentation of archaeological sites and historic structures; preparation of NRHP nominations; administrative duties including scheduling field work and report writing, dispersing per diem, project set-ups, communication with clients, and serving on intra-company administrative committee with monthly telephone conferencing.
