Brief Description of Education & Experience
Mr. Renn is a professional archaeologist with almost 20 years of experience in cultural resource management. Mr. Renn meets the Secretary of the Interior’s Professional Qualification Standards for Archaeology as published in 36 CFR § 61 and is included on the Michigan State Historic Preservation Office list of archaeological consultants. He is experienced in all phases and levels of archaeological evaluation including survey, data recovery, mechanical excavation, research, site stabilization, evaluations, reporting, educational and interpretive programs, tribal consultation, as well paleontological survey. Mr. Renn has worked as an archaeologist in both the private sector and publicly for Federal government with the Bureau of Land Management and the United States Forest Service. He has worked in Pennsylvania, Texas, New Mexico, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Michigan professionally.
