Brief Description of Education & Experience
I graduated with an M.A. in Maritime Studies from East Carolina, where my focus was on 3d reconstruction of a historic shipwreck and comparing this historical data with the archaeological data of photogrammetric modeling of exposed debris alongside a gradiometric survey of that wreck's debris. When time allows, I am currently working on digitally reconstructing the USS Monitor for NOAA's Monitor National Marine Sanctuary and The Mariners' Museum. I have conducted fieldwork in South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Additionally, I am currently involved in Hurricane Helene related watershed and floodplain rehabilitation projects in both North and South Carolina.
